Young & Sick Remixes Bent Denim -- Stereogum Premiere

Young & Sick, once dubbed "the mysterious visual artist-turned-R&B innovator" by The FADER, has remixed a track off of 'NyQuil pop' duo Bent Denim's debut album Romances You. "City of Gardens" has been given the "dad's dance moves" treatment and Stereogum has the premiere.

Bent Denim met Nick Van Hofwegen (Young & Sick) back in 2014 when they were tapped to open for him on his national headlining tour of North America. Of the remix, Bent Denim's Ben Littlejohn writes,
"Nick did a ridiculously good job of giving this song an entirely different landscape and changing it to something more methodical and rhythmic. It has the pulsating bass and swirling grooves that I've come to expect and love from him, but with mine and Dennis's voice on it. I couldn't be happier about where Nick took this." Van Hofwegen would like for listeners to, "Picture your dad dancing to it while listening."

Bent Denim is also thrilled to announce the release of
Romances You on vinyl via German label Anette Records. The duo's acclaimed debut album was originally released on April 28 2015, digitally and on CD and cassette.

> PREMIERE: Bent Denim - "City of Gardens" (Young & Sick Remix)

[Young & Sick] uses the moseying pace of Bent Denim’s original track to slowly build to glimmering layers of synths and glitchy computer pop,
transforming it into a groovable dance party.
